Her claim might be truth, plus texting in the night does not necessarily mean a true bond compared to real time interaction and conversing during the day, for all you know to be realistic you might be a substitute for the guy she claims she likes, think about how actually close you are, how much actual time (real time hanging out (meaning no internet/texting/phone calling included) you've spent together, pretty girls like to have alot of friends and they often say I love you to everyone male or female, they might not take the words in context as seriously as you should. So don't ask her out unless she gets upset by questions like "would you be mad if I got a girlfriend?" direct questions like that, otherwise your wasting time with a girl who's done late night texting/saying I love you before, which is probably the case b/c you said she was really attractive, you might just be a good friend to her that fills up time, but you see it as more, think about it.
